The Zaral shop originated more than 30 years ago, when Mr. Francisco Zaragoza Alvado Marti used to sell in his shop on Carrer La Mar Almonds and other products by weight.

In the 60´s with the creation of the actual Zaragoza Almonds S.A. installations, the altean village started to go to the “Almond factory”. In those days it was situated in the outskirts of the village, and the altean people used to go there to buy small amount of “meles” for their almond sponge cakes and sweet coated cakes.

In the 80´s, at exactly the same time as they introduced the peeling almond section at the factory. A small shop was set up at the factory to sell almonds from the sack and home made pastries directly to the altean public.

The shop as it is today was created in the year 2006. This was to satisfy the altean village and tourists that visited the “White village”, their need to buy fresh and high quality almonds and other kinds of nuts.

The Zaral shop has between their customers, a great amount of altean bakers and pastry cooks. They appreciate and value the quality of raw material which they buy to make delicious, excellent cakes and pastries for the “Marina Baixa” zone.
